If you are travelling by car the best way to get to us is to park in the Mersey Way car park.

This is reached from the entrance on High Bank Side SK1 1HG just off St Petersgate. There are some street signs to direct you to the car park.

Park on the roof of the Car Park, the level you drive in on – Orange Zone level 3.

Walk down the stairs/take the lift at the car parking office and pay station, near the barriers. At the bottom of the stairs/lift turn left

When you reach the street (c50 yards) that is Great Underbank.

Turn left and we are on the left after c100 yards, after the ramp to the car park.

If you are travelling by train, alight at Stockport train station and exit onto Wellington Road South.

Once you reach Wellington Road South, turn left until you reach the intersection of Wellington Road South & Exchange St – you will see The Garrick Theatre on the corner.

Cross over Wellington Road South and walk down St Petersgate, keep left and walk around St Peter’s Church until you see the pathway on the right hand side signposted “Air Raid Shelter & Underbank Shops”.

This pathway leads you to the lower level of Stockport’s old town centre, once you reach the bottom, turn right and we are on the left after the ramp for the car park.
